When a German pyrotechnics specialist envisioned his new 170m2 home, he was looking to create a space that was as striking, sophisticated and unique as his fireworks displays. He sought a floor that would truly become the foundation of his home, radiating a unique blend of contemporary style and timeless elegance. He saw a clip on television about decorative metallic PU floors and immediately knew that’s what he wanted. He got in touch with us and we referred him to one of our partners in his area.
We put him in contact with MiRaViCon, an experienced Deko Design Systems franchise partner known for their ability to translate ambitious design concepts into reality. The owner’s request was clear: a metallic grey floor, interwoven with delicate veins of gold, throughout the house and garage. It was a challenge that excited the team. The partner knew 170m2 of floor was a big job, so he asked if Deko Design Systems could lend a hand. We naturally said we could.
Using our premium metallic PU flooring products, we set out to craft a floor that would exceed expectations as well as hold up to the family’s four dogs. The foundation was laid with Deko Prime in Black, ensuring a smooth and durable base for the metallic artistry to follow. Next, Deko PU-Design was applied, its versatility allowing for the seamless integration of Deko pigments in Silver Grey and Satin Gold. The result is a mesmerising surface – a muted grey expanse subtly illuminated by shimmering gold accents. Finally, a layer of Deko PU-Seal provides a protective finish, guarding the masterpiece against wear and tear while enhancing its high gloss sheen.
The completed floor is a testament to the transformative power of our products and the skill of our partners. This new home now boasts a floor that is not just a surface to walk on, but a work of art. In fact, the owner is so pleased, he’s already going to do 110m2 more next year for a total of 280m2 of dazzling brilliance.
